Session 3 keypoints
- We arrive in Narre, passing a keep on its outskirts.
- We met with Narre’s leader in an ominous tower.
- We are tasked to clear out some gourdlings on Narre’s nearby farmlands.
- We head over to the Guild building.
- ”Names and reasons for visit please” the secretary states as we enter.
- ”We have come to return something” I say as I put down the Blue level quest Morale took earlier.
- The secretary gives me a glare. “Which one of your ravens is the one responsible for this?”
- I point towards Morale. “This one, he has come to apologize fo-”
- The secretary interrupts me “He is demoted to a Green badge. Anything else I can do for you?”
- I pause for a second “That’s all."
- "Next!” The secretary screams as we leave the building.
- We are traveling with Leon’s cart towards Narre.
- ”Hey Aleksi,” I say. “Can you tell me more about Narre?”
- Aleksi grabs his lute “Narre is a place of divide. Between menacing Mages and many Miners. Rich and poor living under one name but divided by the north and the south.”
- I nod. “Anything else we should know?"
- "I heard there is a fair in Wildt in a few weeks. You might want to check it out.”
- I nod.
- ”Oh!” Aleksi continues “Remember that Sky Moss? I heard it is stuck to a tower in Narre."
- "Maybe we can help them clear it!” I say with a smile.
- ”For a price.” Damjan remarks.
- Norrix nods in agreement. “For a price.”
- On our way to Narre we pass along a keep. It seems well guarded.
- ”I wonder what they are guarding.” I say.
- ”They aren’t exactly guarding something.” Leon says.
- I give Leon a confused look.
- Leon grins “It’s a prison my dear, try not to get stuck there.”
- We arrive in Narre. As Aleksi told us, the Sky Moss is stuck to a big black tower in the middle of Narre.
- We head towards the tower. Upon entering we a greeted by a big gorilla.
- ”Master Ekhart is not available for visits. Now please leave.” The gorilla states as she looks down upon us.
- I gulp. “Uhm… We’re adventurers… And we…"
- "Adventurers?” The gorilla interrupts.
- ”Yes…” I mumble as I show my Red badge.
- ”Master Eckart will be here in a second.”
- A few minutes later a robed figure arrives from upstairs.
- I wave. “Hi. You must be Master Eckart.”
- The figure nods. “I’m Master Eckart, the Head wizard of Narre."
- "I’m Lux.” I say. “We’re wondering if-”
- Eckart interrupts me. “You’re adventurers, looking for quests, Red badge level…mostly” as he gives Morale a look.
- I look at the figure with surprised eyes. “How did you do that?”
- Master Eckart laughs. “All in due time my dear, all in due time.” He returns to his previous, more serious demeanor. “As you may have noticed, we have a little Sky Moss related problem. I want you to solve that, but first I need to know if you’re up for the task.”
- I nod.
- He continues “So I want you to do something else for me first.” He turns his gaze to Damjan and Norrix “And rest assured, you will be well compensated for your endeavors.”
- Norrix grins “Good."
- "I want you to clear a field of Onions near the outskirts of Narre. They…pack a punch. Hildegart will give you the details. Report to me when you are done.” Eckart turns around and walks upstairs.
- The gorilla gives us the details.
- We head over to the farms. The farmers point us to the field. “Those Onions will pummel you if you’re not careful.”
- I nod. “They got this.”
- I watch as Norrix and Damjan make quick work of the Onions.
